Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join our Raunds operation. You will act as a trusted partner to managers, delivering practical HR support and guidance across employee relations and policy compliance.

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will analyse people data, support organisational change, and collaborate with Recruitment, L&D and Employee Relations teams to deliver an excellent HR service, with flexibility for travel to other sites as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a generalist HR role in a fast-paced operation.
• Experience with employee relations matters and case management.
• Experience working in a unionised environment with TU consultation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to deliver people-focused HR solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations and policy compliance.
• Build relationships with Trade Union representatives to support positive ER climate.
• Analyse people data to inform decisions and identify improvements.
• Influence stakeholders to achieve best outcomes and support change initiatives.
• Collaborate with Recruitment, Learning & Development and Employee Relations teams to deliver HR services.
