Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking an HR Administrator to join our HR Shared Services team at our main site in Howden, East Yorkshire. You will deliver a professional HR administration service across the employee lifecycle, using Workday and related systems to ensure accurate data and timely processing.

The role involves handling DSARs, supporting managers and employees with HR processes, and ensuring GDPR compliance while delivering a high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR, administration or shared services.
• Knowledge of HR processes supporting the wider employee experience.
• Experience using HR systems, ideally Workday.
• Knowledge of DSARs and data protection with confidential handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and efficient HR administration across the employee lifecycle in line with service levels.
• Maintain employee records and process HR transactions with accuracy.
• Respond to DSARs in line with data protection requirements.
• Address queries from employees and managers, escalating complex issues.
• Support HR processes and Workday self-service activities for staff.
• Manage maternity, paternity and adoption administration processes.
• Support right to work compliance and record accuracy.
• Administer benefits programmes including Loyalty Awards and Cycle to Work.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Recruitment and Finance for a seamless service.
• Maintain GDPR-compliant document management and confidentiality.
