Job summary

Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in Guildford is seeking a HR Advisor (Grade 5) on a fixed-term basis for 12 months to support the Business Partner Team. You will provide expert HR guidance on employee relations and terms of service, working within employment law and Trust policies under supervision, but with autonomous judgment where required.

You will engage with managers and staff, assist in investigations, organisational change processes, and contribute to workforce planning and engagement

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience.
• CIPD level 5 or working towards.
• Experience in HR in a large, multi-site organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear HR advice and support to staff and managers in line with policies and employment law.
• Support managers with ER matters, investigations and organisational change.
• Ensure activity linked to cases is fed into the ER case management system and reported.
• Contribute to pay, conditions, skill mix, workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives.
