Base Location: Nearest Cadent office/site in East of England Network - 2-3 days per week in site/office. Plus Ansty Head Office near Coventry (CV7 9JU) 2-3 times per month for team meetings & collaboration

In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of our employee relations activity, guiding leaders through complex and sensitive cases with confidence and clarity. From disciplinary and grievance matters to absence management and performance improvement, your insight will help ensure our policies are applied fairly, consistently, and in line with best practice. You'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, enhancing the employee experience, and strengthening the reputation of our People team across the organisation.

Why You'll Love This Role

Employee Relations Casework - Support a wide range of employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, and probationary reviews.

Regional Impact - Support managers across the East of England Network, building strong relationships and delivering expert guidance.

On-the-Ground Support - Travel to East of England sites 2-3 times per week and to Ansty Head Office 2-3 times per month for team collaboration. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Insight & Reporting - Produce and analyse Management Information (MI) to identify trends and support continuous improvement.

Collaborative Team - Be part of a close-knit team of 7 ER Advisors, working within the network alongside our Operations teams, HR Business Partners and the wider People team.

Customer-Focused Delivery - Provide timely, professional advice and ensure real-time updates are provided through our systems

Drive Improvement - Contribute to process reviews and feedback loops to enhance the employee experience and streamline case handling.

What you will bring

Experience - Proven track record in managing ER, absence and other cases, supporting formal meetings and hearings (essential requirement)

Knowledge - Strong understanding of ACAS guidelines, HR best practice, and employment law

Qualifications - CIPD Level 5 (essential); ideally working towards or willing to work towards CIPD Level 7 (funding support may be available for the right candidate).

Mobility - This is a mobile role requiring regular travel across the East of England Network and to Head Office near Coventry. A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.

Skills - Confident communicator, resilient and well-organised, with a strong customer focus. Able to work at pace, manage multiple priorities, and adapt effectively to change.

Tech Savvy - Competent in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
