Job summary

Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join the team based in Renfrew. The role will act as the first point of contact for HR enquiries, support managers, and contribute to shaping working practices across projects.

You will coach managers in HR responsibilities, handle absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters, and travel as required to support various sites within the region.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor handling day-to-day HR enquiries.
• Ability to coach managers in HR processes and company policies.
• Willingness to travel to sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR enquiries from managers, staff and supervisors.
• Contribute to development of working practices in line with company and project requirements.
• Liaise with project stakeholders to update workforce data in company systems.
• Coach and develop managers in HR responsibilities and processes.
• Direct complex enquiries to the Business Unit HR Lead.
• Undertake HR project work and research as requested.
• Provide end-to-end case management support in absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance, redundancy and development reviews.
