Job summary

Héroux-Devtek in Runcorn is seeking an HR Advisor to provide on-site HR support to the management team and staff. You will guide managers on the employee life cycle, lead absence management, and support grievance and discipline proceedings.

You will also maintain HRIS data, produce personnel metrics for the UK, and coordinate onboarding for new starters while upholding HR policies and confidentiality. A CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
• Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in HRIS and producing workforce metrics.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support and guidance to managers on the employee life cycle.
• Oversee absence management and long-term sickness trends.
• Assist in Grievance and Disciplinary procedures and meetings.
• Support payroll reporting through HRIS and paper documentation.
• Onboard and induct new starters at Runcorn site.
• Maintain consistency of HR policies and processes across the site.
