Job summary

The Job People Ltd in Coleshill is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support during a site relocation project. You will conduct individual consultations, support recruitment and maintain employee relations during change.

You will work with management to address concerns, communicate relocation packages, and participate in a flexible schedule to cover night shifts and weekends; this is a 3- to 6-month contract with pro rata salary of £35k‑£40k.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor, HR Officer or HR Business Partner or similar HR support role.
• Strong employee relations experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emotionally charged situations.
• Full UK driving license and transport essential.
• Flexible approach to working hours to accommodate night shift/weekend meetings.
• Experience supporting organisational change, consultations, TUPE, restructures, relocations or employee engagement projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-to-one meetings with employees regarding the site relocation.
• Provide professional HR support and guidance to managers and employees.
• Manage sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
• Support employees with concerns or dissatisfaction regarding relocation arrangements.
• Explain transport, travel reimbursement and relocation support packages.
• Escalate employee concerns and work with management to identify solutions.
• Assist with employee relations matters and provide HR advice per policies.
• Seek advice from external HR support providers (Croner) when required.
• Support recruitment activities for permanent vacancies, including candidate management and onboarding support.
• Maintain accurate records of meetings and HR activities.
• Build strong relationships with managers and employees across both sites.
