Job summary

Nigel Wright Recruitment is partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced HR professional. This role is designed to broaden generalist experience, expose you to strategic people initiatives, and collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple sites.

The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract within a forward-thinking People team. You will influence, coach and deliver pragmatic HR solutions while supporting ongoing change programmes and a strong employee

Qualifications

• CIPD qualification or working towards qualification.
• Proven HR Advisory or HR Business Partnering experience within a complex organisation.
• Strong employee relations knowledge with ability to coach and influence managers.
• Experience supporting organisational change and business transformation initiatives.
• Commercially aware with ability to balance business needs with best practice.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience in operational, engineering, manufacturing, logistics or unionised environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, commercially focused HR advice and support across a broad range of people matters.
• Partner with managers and leaders to deliver effective people solutions aligned to business objectives.
• Coach and support managers on employee relations issues including absence management, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases.
• Advise on recruitment, organisational design and workforce planning activities.
• Support change programmes, restructures and wider people projects.
• Analyse people data and trends to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, including senior leadership teams.
• Work collaboratively with internal HR colleagues to ensure an outstanding employee experience.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, policies and practices
