Job summary

Real Life Options is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our friendly HR team on a fixed-term maternity cover, delivering expert advice to managers across our services and ensuring compliant, responsive HR support.

The role focuses on employee relations, coaching managers, handling long-term sickness and return-to-work plans, plus monthly reporting, all within a hybrid working environment. Driving may be required across England.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting and advising managers with employee relations and casework.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards it.
• Experience in social care or other regulated settings is advantageous.
• Driver with access to a vehicle for potential travel.

Responsibilities

• Employee Relations casework, including being the first point of contact for managers and employees on ER matters.
• Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on handling cases with fairness and consistency.
• Guide line managers on managing long-term sickness and return-to-work plans.
• Monthly reporting on HR metrics and activity.
