Tide Partnership is proud to be working with a respected and growing provider of specialist care and education services to recruit a dedicated and proactive HR Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong employee relations experience who thrives in a people-first environment and wants to make a difference.
You’ll be working closely with an experienced HR Business Partner to deliver a consistent, high-quality HR service across multiple sites in the Yeovil and wider Somerset area. It’s a great time to join as the organisation continues to grow and invest in its people and services.Key Responsibilities
As HR Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting managers and employees across the organisation:
- Manage a range of employee relations (ER) cases including absence management, disciplinary action, grievance processes, and performance issues
- Provide timely, practical HR advice in line with employment law and internal policies
- Coach and support operational leaders to manage people confidently and consistently
- Prepare and maintain formal documentation such as investigation packs, letters, and case notes
- Attend meetings to offer HR guidance and take formal minutes when needed
- Promote a culture of equality, inclusion, and positive workplace practices
- Support wider people initiatives and continuous improvement alongside the HRBP

What we’re looking forEssential:- Experience as a HR Advisor, HR Officer, or similar level
- Confident managing a variety of ER cases independently
- Good understanding of UK employment law and HR policies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working at pace
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desirable:- Experience in social care, education, or other regulated sectors
- Working knowledge of HR systems (e.g. iTrent)
- CIPD Level 3 (or studying towards)
- Strong formal note-taking and documentation skills
