RLE International is working on behalf of their Daventry-based Automotive Client, who is currently looking for a HR Advisor to support and join their expanding team.

Position Details:
  • Rate: £26.82 (via Umbrella PAYE) increasing to £33.81 after 12 weeks under AWRs – Agency Worker Regulations.
  • Reporting to the HR Manager, this is a part-time, 12-month fixed-term opportunity based at the Parts Distribution Centre in Daventry, Northants.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the business through growth and changing challenges, helping to modernise HR practices.

Role Overview:

The HR Business Advisor will work in a small, friendly HR team to support the distribution centre's People Leaders in managing approximately 350 employees in manual, warehouse roles. The role involves employee relations, HR project work, data analysis, and professional HR advisory services.

Skills Required:
  • Excellent knowledge of HR products and services, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Previous HR experience, especially in manufacturing or distribution environments.
  • Experience coaching business partners, negotiating, persuading, and influencing.
  • Strong HR administration skills and project experience.
  • Experience working with Trade Unions/partners.
  • Strong skills in absence management and disciplinary procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Support employee relations and operational/business support.
  • Coach and support People Leaders on HR matters, including employee relations issues.
  • Assist with resourcing and skills strategy.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders, including Trade Union partners.
  • Use data to identify business needs and implement continuous improvements.
  • Interpret and implement company policies.
  • Partner with Occupational Health on absence management to promote employee wellbeing.
  • Support formal investigations and ensure policy compliance.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in line with company strategy.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Excellent HR experience.
  • Preferred: HR experience in manufacturing or distribution sectors.
  • Degree or CIPD qualification preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu.
Additional Information:
  • Inside IR35.
  • Maximum of 30 hours per week, flexible on days and hours, onsite only.
  • No hybrid working; flexible working days and hours possible.
