Job Description

• Provide comprehensive HR advice to managers and staff
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
• Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations when required
• Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships and increase productivity and retention
• Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
• Identify training needs for teams and individuals
• Ensure compliance with all HR legal and regulatory requirements

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Advisor should have:

• An HR qualification or equivalent
• Experience in a similar HR role, ideally within the retail sector
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
