Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Avonmouth is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support managers and colleagues across employee relations in a busy operation. You will provide practical HR guidance, coaching managers and helping create a positive colleague experience within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Previous HR Advisor experience.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• CIPD qualified, studying towards CIPD, or equivalent HR experience.
• A proactive, organised approach with the ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers on employee relations matters, including absence, disciplinary and grievance cases.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues, managers and trade union representatives.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
• Monitor investigations, probation reviews and absence trends to ensure a consistent approach.
• Help drive colleague engagement initiatives and support HR projects across the site.

Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking to make an impact in a fast-paced operation? Can you build strong relationships and confidently support managers through employee relations matters? Do you enjoy coaching managers and helping create a positive colleague experience?

Join GXO as an HR Advisor and become a key member of the HR team supporting our Amazon operation in Avonmouth. Working closely with managers, colleagues and trade union representatives, you'll provide practical HR support across a wide range of employee relations matters while helping to create a positive and engaging workplace. This is a varied role offering exposure to recruitment, absence management, investigations, performance management, employee engagement and change initiatives, making it an excellent opportunity to further develop your HR career within a fast-paced logistics environment.

This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00
