At Cavendish Nuclear, we're working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as a HR Advisor at our Hinkley Point C site.

This is a unique opportunity to work with the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project, which integrates main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling, and support services, ensuring cohesive delivery of complex installations.

The Role

As a HR Advisor, you'll provide guidance on various employee issues, manage ER cases, support day-to-day HR operations, and lead HR training initiatives. You'll also manage weekly meetings with partner companies, handle sensitive information, and oversee HR team members.

Note: The successful candidate must pass a targeted medical questionnaire/examination.

This role involves 37 hours per week, based partly on-site at Hinkley Point C and off-site at SDC office.

Essential Experience

• Experience in coordinating HR activities
• Knowledge of HR processes and procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and administrative skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective communication skills
• Experience in a trade union/construction environment (advantageous)

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or relevant experience (desirable)
• CIPD Level 3 or equivalent HR experience (desirable)

Security Clearance

Must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance.
