Our client based in Skelmersdale is looking to recruit a HR Advisor.
The role involves:
- Policy Development: Collaborating across sites with the wider HR team to develop policies and procedures aligned with best practices and legislative requirements, ensuring consistency and effective implementation.
- Culture and Engagement: Supporting culture change initiatives and actively participating in strategic HR projects to enhance employee engagement.
- Communication and Collaboration: Promoting cross-functional cooperation and championing effective communication.
- Business Advisory: Acting as an HR advisor to support key business decisions with appropriate guidance.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Supporting the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes within best practice guidelines and budget constraints, in collaboration with the Head of Talent Acquisition.
- Performance and Development: Guiding and coordinating performance reviews and identifying training needs.
- Performance Metrics: Developing clear performance measurements and driving KPI achievement both personally and as a team.
- Employee Relations: Advising management on ER issues such as performance management, absence, disciplinary, and grievance procedures, in line with policies and legislation.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for business improvement, new initiatives, and innovative ways of working to engage staff.
- Reporting: Preparing high-quality reports and HR presentations for the business.
- Employee Lifecycle Support: Supporting all stages of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit.
- Data Privacy: Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with GDPR legislation.
- Project Management: Leading or supporting HR and business-related projects.
- Team Support: Assisting the HR Coordinator and HR Administrator, including cover during absences.
- Internal Communications: Working with marketing to enhance internal and external employer branding.
- Payroll Support: Assisting payroll functions and system development.
- Additional Duties: Performing other duties as required.
