Job summary

SF Partners in Nottingham is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide proactive, hands-on HR support from day one. Based in Nottingham, the interim role covers the full employee lifecycle across the business, including advice to managers, recruitment support, and employee relations in a fast-paced environment.

The assignment runs for two months with 4 days on site and 1 day remote, offering weekly pay at an hourly rate that equates to about £35,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Candidates have experience as HR Advisor or in a generalist HR role.
• Ability to build credibility quickly with managers and employees.
• Available immediately or on short notice.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established business in Nottingham on a temporary basis. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, quickly build relationships with managers and provide confident, hands‑on HR support from day one. As HR Advisor, you will provide a proactive, generalist HR service across the full employee lifecycle, supporting managers and employees with a wide range of HR activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing first-line HR advice and guidance to managers.
• Managing/assisting employee relations cases, including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Advising on HR policies and employment legislation.
• Assisting with organisational and people‑related projects where required.
• Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
