Job summary

Reed in Gloucester is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the client\'s HR team on a temporary basis for around four months.

You will deliver a high-quality, commercially focused HR advisory service, handling a broad range of employee relations matters, coaching managers, and supporting HR Business Partners to maintain effective HR operations.

Qualifications

• You\'ll be an experienced HR professional with strong employee relations expertise and the confidence to manage complex casework autonomously.
• You\'ll be comfortable building trusted relationships with managers, balancing risk with practical business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a range of complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management, performance management, probation, flexible working, family leave and workplace conflict.
• Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on people-related matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies and best practice.
• Assess risk and recommend appropriate solutions, escalating only the most complex or high-risk cases.
• Prepare case documentation, correspondence and management reports.
• Support and lead formal meetings and hearings where appropriate.
• Contribute to HR projects and organisational change activity as required.

We\'re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our clients HR team on a temporary basis, providing additional support for circa 4 months.

In this role, you\'ll work independently to deliver a high-quality, professional and commercially focused HR advisory service, managing a broad range of employee relations matters and supporting managers across the organisation. This position will play a key role in ensuring operational HR activity continues to be delivered effectively, enabling HR Business Partners to focus on strategic priorities and organisational initiatives.
