Job summary

Neptune North in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide day-to-day HR guidance across assigned business areas. You will partner with HR BP to deliver talent initiatives, manage employee relations, and support training requests and transfers to ensure a smooth employee experience.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in HR Generalist/Analyst roles, solid UK employment law knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Analyst role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid grounding in UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset; comfortable with ambiguity and ownership.
  • An Undergraduate Degree in a relevant subject.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees across your assigned business area(s).
  • Partner with HR Business Partner(s) to deliver talent management initiatives and year-end processes.
  • Manage sensitive employee relations matters, including performance and absence management.
  • Facilitate core HR processes such as training requests, internal transfers, and terminations.
  • Contribute to broader HR initiatives in partnership with HR Operations and other specialists.
  • Take ownership of client-area-specific projects and ad hoc reporting.

  • Contribute to broader HR initiatives - such as policy reviews, engagement programmes, and process improvements - in partnership with HR Operations and other specialist areas.
  • Take ownership of client-area-specific projects and ad hoc reporting as they emerge, bringing a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
