I am partnering with a highly regarded public research institute who are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join the team. If you are a proactive, motivated HR Advisor who is looking for their next new challenge this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
The HR Advisor will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, proactive, and customer-focused HR advisory and operational service throughout the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment with HR policies, procedures, and agreed service levels.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Providing expert guidance to line managers and staff on the interpretation and application of company policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.
* Supporting line managers in managing complex employee relations cases.
* Assisting line managers with the effective implementation of change management initiatives, including restructures, redundancies, and TUPE, while collaborating with the HR Business Partner on more complex matters when necessary.
* Undertaking project work as required and contributing to the department’s efforts in delivering the overall HR strategy.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and hold at least part-qualified membership status with the CIPD. They will possess a solid working knowledge of current employment law, as well as HR and employment best practices. The candidate must have significant experience working within an HR department, providing generalist operational support and senior advisory services to staff and line managers at all levels.
They should be adept at managing high-volume workloads, meeting tight deadlines, and delivering high-quality work, even when faced with conflicting demands. Furthermore, the candidate should have experience managing a range of employee relations cases, offering sound, professional, and risk-based advice while coaching and supporting line managers.
