Job summary

Focus Resourcing Limited, on behalf of a Neath-based client, is seeking an HR Advisor for an initial 3-month temporary contract with potential extension. The role involves providing HR guidance and support to managers and handling HR processes across the business.

You will analyse HR metrics, assist with compensation benchmarking and benchmarking data, stay updated on employment law, and support performance improvement initiatives. The role is on site and starts as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education with CIPD qualification or training towards CIPD.
• HR Advisor experience in production/manufacturing.
• Ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organisation.
• Strong analysis, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance and expertise to functional managers on HR processes including grievance, disciplinary, performance and attendance issues.
• Communicate and provide regular updates on HR policies and processes.
• Review and analyse key HR metrics such as turnover and absenteeism.
• Support data collation, analysis and presentation for compensation benchmarking.
• Keep abreast of changes in HR and employment legislation.
• Support the HR management team in business performance improvement.

My client based in Neath is currently looking for a HR Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis for an initial 3 month contract with potential to extend as the business grows. . The role will involve providing HR guidance, expertise and support to the business.

Duties

• To provide HR assistance and expertise to functional managers providing guidance and support to managers on various HR processes including grievance and disciplinary procedures, performance and attendance issues
• To communicate and provide regular update on all HR policies and processes
• To review and prepare detailed analysis of Key HR metrics including employee turnover, absenteeism and other relevant data
• To support the collation, analysis and presentation of information and statistics related to employee compensation and benefits and other relevant bench marking
• To keep abreast of changes in HR and employment legislation
• To support the HR management team in business performance improvement activitiesExperience

Experience

• Educated to degree level in a relevant subject and ideally CIPD qualified/ training towards CIPD certification
• HR Advisor experience in production or manufacturing.
• Ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organisation
• Good analysis skills and strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and organisational skills

The role will be on site and car driver preferable due to location.
