Job summary

TEAM, based in the United Kingdom, seeks an HR Advisor to support managers in making commercially sound decisions while ensuring fair treatment of employees. The role offers hybrid working with around two days in the office, a salary of £35,000–£40,000, and a strong progression path toward business partnering.

You will advise on employee relations, manage absence cases, support hearings, and maintain robust HR documentation and policies to ensure compliance and consistent practice.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years HR experience in a commercial, office-based environment.
• Strong generalist HR knowledge including employee relations.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
• Experience producing accurate HR documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers on employee relations matters including performance, disciplinary, investigation, probation and absence cases.
• Manage short and long-term absence cases, including Occupational Health referrals.
• Support employee relations meetings and hearings with fair, consistent processes.
• Produce accurate meeting notes and outcome letters.
• Review and update people policies to maintain legal compliance and reflect best practice.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and embed effective policies across the organisation.
