Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Grimsby is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our onsite team. This hands-on role provides day-to-day HR support, handles employee relations casework, and supports recruitment and payroll activities.

You will act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, coach on HR policies, and partner with the wider HR team to deliver a consistent service across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor or similar role.
• Strong employee relations casework management from start to finish.
• Experience with disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, appeals and suspensions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in manufacturing/FMCG environment preferred.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification preferred.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Advisor to join our team at 2 Sisters Food Group.

This is a varied, hands-on HR role where you'll be a key point of contact for employees and managers onsite. You'll provide day-to-day HR support while taking ownership of employee relations casework and supporting recruitment and payroll activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers onsite.
• Take ownership of employee relations casework, providing advice and support throughout the process.
• Manage a range of complex cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, investigations and suspensions.
• Coach and support managers on HR policies, procedures and best practice.
• Support recruitment activity, including the coordination and administration of the recruitment process.
• Provide support with payroll-related queries and processes, ensuring information is accurate and dealt with in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure all casework is appropriately documented.
• Work closely with the wider HR team to deliver a consistent and effective HR service.
• Support wider HR initiatives and projects across the site.

About You

• Previous experience working in an HR Advisor or similar HR role.
• Strong experience managing employee relations casework from start to finish.
• Experience handling disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, appeals and suspensions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience within a manufacturing, FMCG or fast-paced operational environment would be highly advantageous.
• A CIPD Level 5 qualification is preferred
