Job summary

Portfolio HR & Reward are supporting an inclusive public sector organisation that are currently seeking a HR Advisor join them on a Temporary basis until next July.

This role will be based in Derby, and offers hybrid working following probation. The successful candidate will be paid £18-£21 per hour plus holiday pay. The role involves delivering business partnering, advising on policy, and supporting pay/grading discussions with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Provide professional advice and support within a large organisation, including unions and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR policy guidance.
• Experience coaching managers and delivering business partnering advice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a business partnering approach to professional advice, guidance and coaching to managers around policy.
• Support with grading evaluation and moderation of current pay and grading strategy.
• Advise in formal hearings and meetings in line with employment law.

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate between £18 - £21 per hour, plus holiday pay.

As a successful HR Advisor, you will be responsible for;

• Deliver a business partnering approach to professional advice, guidance and coaching to managers around policy
• Support with grading evaluation and moderation of current pay and grading strategy
• Advise advice in formal hearings and meetings in line with employment law

The ideal HR Advisor will have experience in the following;

• Providing professional advice and support within a large organisation, ideally also with unions and stakeholders
• Strong employment law knowledge
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or qualified through experience
