Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group is assisting a manufacturing client in recruiting an HR Advisor to join their team in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.

You will support day-to-day HR operations, implement HR policies and procedures, and help drive HR initiatives across the site, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding and training coordination.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualification or working towards.
• Solid understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience in employee relations and HR systems.
• Ability to advise and partner with senior staff.
• Experience coordinating recruitment, onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

What you need to know

My client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a HR Advisor to join their team. This role is located in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.

As the HR Advisor, you will assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures and support the day to day HR operation.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Drive delivery of key metrics, such as turnover, absence and retention rates.
• Coach & mentor management on HR policies/procedures/health & safety.
• Conduct grievance cases & provide legal and policy compliant advice.
• Ensure all HR Systems are maintained and kept up to date.
• Manage employee absence/ sick leave, recruitment & onboarding process.
• Manage the Occupational Health diary & provide recommendations to management.
• Assist in learning, development & training.
• Support Health and Safety initiatives across the site.
• Assist in company communications & engagements.
• Participate in HR project work, offsite meetings & conferences.
• Advise on the creation of Job Specific SOPs.

What are we looking for?

• HR Advisor/HR Consultant or similar role within a manufacturing setting
• CIPD Qualification (or working towards)
• Solid understanding of Irish employment Law, Legislation & HR best practices
• Employee Relations experience.
• Hands-on experience with HR systems.
• Ability to advise and work with senior members of staff.
• Experience assisting with recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, and policy implementation.
• Strong communication and relationship building.
