Job summary

Michael Page partners with a Coventry-based distribution business to appoint an HR Advisor to join a small People team and help develop a growing function. The role offers hybrid working: 3 days onsite and 2 days at home per week, with excellent benefits and clear progression opportunities.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality advisory support across a broad HR remit, taking on projects to improve policies, onboarding, and stakeholder partnerships while supporting data-driven

Qualifications

• Proven background in a HR Advisor role with generalist HR experience.
• Experience in fast-paced sectors such as manufacturing/distribution/logistics/retail is desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory support on employee relations casework to a broad stakeholder base.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement projects to develop HR policies and procedures.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and inductions.
• Coach line managers to handle people matters effectively.
• Support senior leaders with data-driven decisions and People strategy execution.

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity of a HR Advisor to join a busy People team and play a vital role in providing high-quality, proactive advisory support to a wide range of stakeholders.You will support with a wide range of generalist HR matters but also be given excellent opportunity to further develop into a wide range of HR projects and initiatives.Duties will include but not limited to:

• Provide support to a wide range of stakeholders on employee relations casework
• Alongside the HR team, you will be involve in a range of continuous improvement projects to develop HR policies and procedures
• Support with recruitment, on-boarding and inductions
• Coach line managers to deal with people matters effectively
• Supporting senior leaders with data driven decisions
• Act as a trusted partner to managers and leaders, providing commercially-focused support
• Support the HR leadership to embed the People strategy

The Successful Applicant

Ideal applicants for this role will have a proven background within a HR Advisor role. Preferably you will have experience within a similar fast-paced sector such as manufacturing/distribution/logistics/retail etc
