Job description

Job Title: HR Advisor

The HR Advisor is a credible and proactive member of the HR Team supporting the HR Business Partner with managing the day-to-day HR operations. The role involves delivering an effective and efficient generalist HR advisory service that aligns with best practices, the company's objectives, and legal requirements.

The HR Advisor will play a crucial role in implementing HR policies and procedures aligned with the overall people and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety as a condition
  • Develop proactive plans to support the overall employee experience and staff engagement
  • Create proactive plans to support KPI delivery
  • Maintain site absence percentage within target
  • Maintain site 30-day retention percentage within target
  • Manage site labour turnover within target
  • Control site agency staffing percentage within target
Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Proven experience as an HR advisor, HR consultant, or similar role
  • Ability to advise and collaborate with senior staff
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems
  • Knowledge of employment legislation
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels
  • Driven, determined, and proactive
  • Practical, logical, and quick problem-solving abilities
  • Relevant CIPD qualification or working towards it
  • Experience in HR within the manufacturing and/or food industry
