NEW GROUND WONT BREAK ITSELF

Every day, our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals. People Advisory is an internal-facing consultancy team whose purpose is to deliver a people experience aligned with the people strategy, the firm’s purpose, and its strategic goals. The team aims to create an environment where our people can thrive and perform their best, take shared responsibility, and deliver exceptional client service.

This involves prioritizing doing what’s right over what’s easy. The work you will do has a significant impact on our people, clients, and the firm. We pride ourselves on high standards in everything we do.

We’re open to flexible working arrangements, including reduced hours and job shares, to help you balance work and life.

A look into the role

You will be part of a flexible team supporting the business with people lifecycle activities related to performance, talent, and reward. You will also guide and coach managers in managing their teams effectively, including handling performance issues, absence, investigations, and disciplinary cases. Supporting Senior People Advisers and People Advisory Managers, you will deliver on our people strategy, initiatives, and annual people experience cycle.

There will be opportunities for the right candidate to expand their knowledge and develop their skills.

Knowing you’re right for us

The minimum criteria for joining as a People Adviser include:

  • Experience in a generalist HR role working with large client groups
  • Supportive experience in employee relations activities such as absence management, investigations, and disciplinary processes
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and presentation
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Examples of supporting managers with initiatives that positively impact their teams

Additional skills that are desirable but not mandatory include:

  • Experience in large, complex organizations
  • Experience collaborating within service line structures and centers of excellence
  • Delivery of Inclusion and Diversity initiatives
  • Ownership of people processes like salary reviews, performance moderation, and talent management
Knowing we’re right for you

We value individuality and foster an inclusive culture where everyone can perform at their best. Our open culture encourages interaction with leaders who care about your contributions. We support bringing your whole self to work and pursuing passions outside of work.

Beyond the job

We recognize that life extends beyond work, and we offer flexible working options to support work-life balance. Your impact here can extend beyond your role, through activities like secondments, charity fundraising, or supporting entrepreneurs worldwide. Our values—Collaboration, Leadership, Excellence, Agility, Respect, and Responsibility—guide everything we do.

We seek individuals eager to contribute, innovate, and exceed expectations—people committed to doing what’s right for the firm, clients, colleagues, and themselves. It’s how it should be.
