Job summary

E-ACT is seeking an HR Administrator to support the employee lifecycle across our national teams. The role is primarily home-based with occasional travel to academies and our Birmingham office for whole-team meetings.

You will handle HR documentation, payroll support, and employee relations, while contributing to improvements in HR systems and delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths.
  • Experience of general administrative processes and systems.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient and accurate administrative support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring employee records are maintained and updated in line with GDPR, safeguarding requirements, and organisational policies.
  • Assist with the production of HR documentation, including contracts, letters, reports, and other confidential correspondence, ensuring a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Support payroll administration by processing starter, leaver, and contractual change information, ensuring deadlines are met and records remain accurate.
  • Coordinate and administer employee relations processes, including absence management, disciplinary and capability procedures, preparing documentation and maintaining confidential records.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and processes, providing excellent customer service and adapting quickly to new technologies and ways of working.

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail. Key responsibilities:

Supporting our secondary academies, the postholder will be responsible for:

Pay range:

SCP 16 - 20 £31,525.00 - £33,673.00

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
