A growing HR firm is seeking an organised and proactive HR Administrator to support its Human Resources team in Havant. The successful candidate will provide first-line HR support, manage employee documentation, and assist with payroll and recruitment activities. Qualifications

  • Proven HR administration experience, ideally within a manufacturing business.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices is desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line HR support, responding to queries from employees and managers.
  • Administer starter and leaver processes, including all employee documentation and onboarding.
  • Maintain and update HR records and systems.
  • Support monthly payroll and assist with benefits coordination.
  • Assist with recruitment administration, including scheduling interviews.
  • Carry out pre-employment screening and compliance checks.
  • Prepare HR documentation (contracts, reports) and correspondence.
  • Produce management information reports for HR and leadership teams.
  • Assist in organising learning & development activities and maintaining training records.
  • Support the HR Manager in all aspects of the employee life cycle and ad-hoc HR projects.
Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
