Overview
We are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator for our client in the Havant area! Our client is a growing and innovative company who are seeking an organised and proactive HR Administrator to support its busy Human Resources team.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line HR support, responding to queries from employees and managers.
- Administer starter and leaver processes, including all employee documentation and onboarding.
- Maintain and update HR records and systems.
- Support monthly payroll and assist with benefits coordination.
- Assist with recruitment administration, including scheduling interviews.
- Carry out pre-employment screening and compliance checks.
- Prepare HR documentation (contracts, reports) and correspondence.
- Produce management information reports for HR and leadership teams.
- Assist in organising learning & development activities and maintaining training records.
- Support the HR Manager in all aspects of the employee life cycle and ad-hoc HR projects.
Requirements
- Proven HR administration experience, ideally within a manufacturing business.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices (desirable).
- Team-player with a proactive approach to new challenges.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
