Job Description:

Description: The HR Operations Administrator Apprentice is responsible for activities including data entry in Workday, employee lifecycle administration, organizing inductions, and providing HR data and reports to support decision-making within the HR team and organization.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Be the first point of contact for HR admin queries, managing the HR inbox and escalating issues as needed.
  2. Process new hires, terminations, and maintain employee files.
  3. Maintain and update employee data in Workday, collaborate with IT and HR teams to troubleshoot issues, support system updates and enhancements.
  4. Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including exit documentation, probation monitoring, and accurate record keeping.
  5. Coordinate company inductions for new hires, ensuring understanding of policies and safety protocols, and collaborate with departments to tailor inductions.
  6. Generate HR reports on headcount, turnover, and compliance, analyze data to identify trends and provide insights.
  7. Support benefits administration systems.
  8. Assist the HR team as needed.

Skills and Competence:

Duration: 2-year Apprenticeship Programme

Hours: 40.5 per week
