Job summary

EDF Energy is seeking a Document Author to support the Pre-Operations team for the HPC project in Bridgwater. The role focuses on producing, reviewing and formatting operational documentation across procedures, work instructions and guides, ensuring compliance with standards.

The position is contract-based with three days on site and a lifespan extending to approximately 31 December 2027, contributing to readiness of the future operating organisation for Hinkley Point C.

Qualifications

• Experience in writing, editing and proofreading technical documents.
• Experience using Word, Excel and Visio.
• Knowledge of information security and records management.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit and proofread operational documents.
• Collate and verify information from multiple sources.
• Create and edit pictures/diagrams and use software to present information.
• Coordinate with translator services and perform quality checks.
