Job summary

Wood PLC is recruiting an experienced Regulatory and Compliance Officer to support EDF at Hinkley Point C (HPC). Ideally based locally to Bridgwater, the role is a 12 month rolling PAYE contract on a 40 hr/week basis, Monday to Friday, at the HPC site.

You will coordinate regulatory and compliance activities across interfaces to enable successful project delivery, working with engineering, operations, contractors and regulators to ensure governance and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Business Administration.
• Experience supporting project coordination in a highly regulated industry.
• Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with stakeholders across project teams, operations, contractors, regulators and licensing functions to support commissioning outcomes.
• Coordinate regulatory and compliance activities, ensuring arrangements align with governance requirements and best practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify challenges, manage risks and implement practical solutions.
• Facilitate communication and alignment across multiple workstreams to support CommOps programmes.
• Provide guidance to promote high standards of regulatory safety, quality and performance.
• Monitor progress, compliance and readiness activities to ensure commitments are delivered safely.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and share lessons learned for future performance.
