Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a senior HPC benchmarking engineer to validate and optimize large-scale HPC and AI platforms. You will design tests, profile workloads, and deliver actionable optimization guidance across compute, storage, and networking environments.

The role requires deep expertise in MPI/OpenMP, CUDA, Linux, and Python automation, with strong collaboration across customers and engineering teams. Hybrid travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with HPC systems and Linux clusters.
• Proven ability to benchmark and optimise HPC workflows.
• Knowledge of MPI, OpenMP, CUDA and GPU-accelerated workloads.
• Experience with Lustre/GPFS and parallel file systems.
• Strong scripting and automation in Python.
• Excellent communication with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Validate, benchmark, and optimize large-scale HPC and AI platforms.
• Design and execute benchmarking plans across compute, storage, networking.
• Profile applications, identify bottlenecks, and provide optimization recommendations.
• Collaborate with customers, solution architects, consultants and delivery teams.
• Contribute to benchmarking methodologies and technical documentation.
