Job summary

Lenovo High-Performance Computing (HPC) team is seeking a seasoned Principal Consultant for Power and Cooling to join its Global HPC Professional Services team. This position represents a rewarding opportunity to apply your experience at major customer sites in a dynamic, complex environment.

You will decipher complex RFP requirements, architect IT infrastructure power and cooling solutions, and coordinate with customers, sales, and engineering to deliver designs and project costs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in power/electrical or mechanical/thermal engineering in data centers.
• Understanding of data center power delivery architectures.
• Ability to lead engagements and interact with customers.
• Proven ability to work with sales and engineering teams.
• Experience guiding infrastructure projects and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Decipher RFP requirements related to power and cooling infrastructure.
• Architect complex power and cooling solutions for IT solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and success criteria.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to determine scope and costs.
• Capture the solution description and review with stakeholders.
• Drive build vs. buy decisions and identify key technologies.
• Oversee vendors contracted to deliver project pieces.
