Job summary

Herefordshire Community Wellbeing is seeking a Triage Officer to be the first point of contact in a busy housing team, supporting applicants to complete their homeless application and coordinating signposting to housing-related support.

You will work 37 hours per week at Blue School House, Hereford, on a fixed-term contract to 31 August 2027, delivering a professional, customer-focused service using MS Outlook and basic office skills.

Qualifications

• Team-based environment experience.
• Confident speaking with customers over the phone and in person.
• IT literate with basic MS Outlook proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers in a busy housing team.
• Assist customers to complete their homeless application following a script.
• Coordinate identification collection and pass applications for assessment.
