Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Housing Support Officer for a 6-month contract in the West Midlands. The role pays £19-£22 per hour umbrella and focuses on providing housing-related support to service users, helping clients sustain tenancies, and conducting risk assessments.

You will liaise with external agencies, conduct welfare checks, assist with budgeting and benefits, maintain caseload notes, and respond to safeguarding concerns. A full UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing support, homelessness, or tenancy services.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• DBS check (Enhanced) preferred or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing-related support to service users.
• Support clients to maintain and sustain tenancies.
• Carry out risk assessments and support planning.
• Liaise with external agencies, local authorities and support services.
• Assist clients with budgeting, benefits and independent living skills.
• Manage caseloads and maintain accurate case notes.
• Respond appropriately to safeguarding and welfare concerns.
• Conduct property visits and welfare checks where required.
