Job summary

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead is seeking a Housing Technical Officer to join its Business Support team on a full-time, permanent basis with hybrid working. The role offers a salary of £26,895 to £30,132 per year.

You will provide technical support to Housing and Public Protection Services, handle enquiries, process back-office statutory tasks, and contribute to performance reporting. RBWM promotes an inclusive culture with generous pension and flexible working.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy, frontline, and customer-focused team.
• Proficient IT skills including Word, Excel and MIS.
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to present to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to gather information and record accurate findings.
• Logical thinker able to follow set procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries from Customer Services Centre and the public regarding enforcement services.
• Process complex back‑office statutory processes, including grants.
• Record and route service requests to the appropriate service lead for escalation.
• Input data into the service databases and compile statistics for internal and external bodies.
