Job summary

Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking a Senior Housing Strategy Officer to join the Housing Strategy, Performance and Inclusion team. The role is full-time on a permanent basis with hybrid working and a salary of £39,526 – £50,446 per annum.

The post leads on housing policy, strategy and delivery of projects such as temporary accommodation, rough sleeping services, and affordable housing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing policy, strategy development or rough sleeping provision.
• Experience liaising with central government on projects like the Local Authority Housing Fund.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and represent RBWM in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Leading and delivering on specific projects.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop work streams and deliver projects.
• Achieving practical outcomes to improve the housing service and meet government requirements while minimising costs.
