In this Housing Team Leader opportunity in Chesterfield, you will join a charity helping young people aged 16-25 access temporary accommodation due to homelessness. The role involves managing a team of front-line workers, overseeing daily operations, and handling a small caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line management and supervise a small team to ensure young people receive person-centred support in our accommodation, adhering to policies, the statement of purpose, and OFSTED standards.
• Develop and implement co-production plans to enhance service delivery and improve young people's experiences.
• Manage a caseload of homeless young people, assisting with housing support and benefits applications.
• Maintain health and safety procedures on site to ensure safety for staff and residents.
• Handle complaints effectively.
• Participate in meetings related to budgets, rents, and new housing legislation.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Housing Team Leader.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Enhanced DBS clearance for children and adults issued within the last 12 months or on the update service.
• Available for a temporary contract lasting 6-8 weeks.
