Job summary

Nacro, based in Birmingham, is hiring a Housing Support Worker to provide person-centred housing and support to vulnerable adults, including those leaving prison or at risk of homelessness. The role involves assessing support needs, developing safety and support plans, and helping with housing and welfare benefits to sustain tenancies and independent living.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable adults

• Accurate record keeping and reporting
• Safeguarding knowledge and risk management

Responsibilities

• Assess support needs and develop tailored safety and support plans for service users.
• Assist with housing, welfare benefits and tenancy management to help maintain independent living.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate with probation, housing providers, courts and other agencies.
• Ensure safeguarding, risk management and compliance with relevant policies.
