Job summary

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for Housing Support Coordinator to join a Housing Group based in Leicester on an ongoing basis.

The role involves supporting ex-offenders and vulnerable adults with complex needs, helping them access appropriate accommodation, maintain their tenancies and work towards independent living. This is a full-time role with evenings 12:30pm-8:30pm, Monday to Friday, and 1 weekend in every 6.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housing support, homelessness, supported accommodation or a similar role.
• Experience supporting ex-offenders, prison leavers or individuals involved with probation services.
• Understanding of safeguarding, risk assessments and managing complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mixed caseload of individuals requiring housing-related support.
• Support ex-offenders and prison leavers to access and maintain suitable accommodation.
• Develop and review individual support plans, risk assessments and safety plans.
• Help individuals maintain their tenancies and work towards independent living.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and manage risks appropriately.
• Liaise with probation services, housing providers and other support agencies.

Job Overview

The role involves supporting ex-offenders and vulnerable adults with complex needs, helping them access appropriate accommodation, maintain their tenancies and work towards independent living.

This is a full-time role working 12:30pm to 8:30pm (evenings), Monday to Friday, with 1 weekend in every 6.

You will manage a mixed caseload, providing person-centred housing support and working with individuals from a range of backgrounds, including prison leavers and people with complex offending histories. This may include supporting individuals convicted of sexual offences.
