Job summary

Field Lane is seeking a Female Housing Support Worker to join our supported accommodation service in Greater London. You will provide safe housing, practical and emotional support, and guidance to vulnerable families to help them gain independence and stability.

The role involves assessing referrals, creating and reviewing tailored support plans, and collaborating with external agencies while maintaining detailed records.

Qualifications

• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals and families, including those affected by domestic abuse.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Ability to challenge inappropriate behaviour confidently, professionally, and appropriately.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, particularly in challenging situations.
• Experience of support planning and an understanding of the needs of vulnerable families.
• A caring, compassionate, and non-judgemental approach.
• Knowledge of substance misuse issues (desirable).
• Experience of working with children (desirable).

Responsibilities
