Nacro is seeking a dedicated Housing Support Worker to cover the Teesside area from Middlesbrough. The role involves assessing housing support needs, maintaining tenancy sustainment, and working with vulnerable adults to promote independent living.

You will collaborate with probation services, housing providers, and other agencies, manage records, and ensure safeguarding and contractual compliance while travelling across your allocated area.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing or support roles.
• Experience with vulnerable adults and complex needs.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to build relationships with multi-agency partners.
• Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.
• Ability to travel across Teesside and work independently.

Responsabilités

• Support Service Users: assess needs and assist with housing applications and rent payments.
• Property Management: ensure Decent Homes standards and address maintenance.
• Collaboration: work with probation services, court staff, housing providers.
• Tenancy & Independence Support: help service users move to independent living.
• Risk & Safeguarding: identify safeguarding concerns and manage risks.
• Record Keeping & Compliance: maintain accurate case records.
