Job summary

Nacro is seeking a role in Sheffield to support housing and community services across South Yorkshire. The post involves assessing needs, creating support plans, handling housing applications and rent payments, and working with multiple agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate has experience with vulnerable adults, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently. DBS and HMPPS checks are required, with a rolling shift pattern and travel across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in a support or housing-related role.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults and individuals with complex needs.
• Strong communication, organisation, and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess individual support needs and create person-centred plans.
• Ensure properties meet Decent Homes Standard and guide service users.
• Collaborate with probation services, court staff, housing providers and agencies.
• Help service users develop life skills and move to independent living.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and manage tenancy risks.
• Maintain accurate case records and support contract requirements.
