LATCH, a Leeds-based charity, seeks two Housing Support Workers to provide flexible, person-centred support to tenants in Leeds. Roles allow 37, 30, or 22.5 hours per week, with salaries around £29,077 per year pro rata for part-time hours. You will build relationships, support independent living and help tenants maintain homes.

You will manage an active caseload of people with complex needs, transport as needed, and collaborate with partner organisations to achieve service outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience working as a Support Worker.
• Experience of managing an active caseload of people with multiple and complex needs.
• Experience of building and maintaining effective support relationships.
• Knowledge of welfare rights and benefits.
• Understanding of homelessness and related issues.

Responsabilités

• Complete housing and support needs assessments and contribute to housing decisions.
• Develop, implement and regularly review individual support plans.
• Help tenants establish and maintain tenancies and manage finances.
• Support tenants to access welfare benefits and maximise income.
• Transport tenants as required and maintain case records.
• Work with partner organisations and attend multidisciplinary meetings.
