Job summary

Communities is seeking an Accommodation Support Officer to help adult participants with housing needs in Bristol. You will manage a caseload, perform initial assessments, and develop personalised accommodation plans with targeted interventions.

You will collaborate with probation practitioners, keep participants informed, and support them through decisions, rights understanding, and steps toward stability and independence. Full-time role with a strong on-site training package.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with participants and external stakeholders.
• Good organisation and time-management abilities to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants and produce personalised accommodation plans.
• Carry out initial assessments considering risk, situation and need.
• Record progress and outcomes using case management system.
• Maintain contact with participants and identify emerging risks and concerns.
