Job summary

Phoenix Futures HoSTS in Colchester is seeking a Housing Support Worker to help individuals reach their goals and improve their living situations. The role is full time (37.5 hours) on a fixed term until 31/03/2027, working within a small team and delivering tailored interventions and recovery approaches.

The ideal candidate has relevant health and social care experience and is prepared to engage with people facing homelessness while developing skills and progressing within a supportive

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care, ideally with substance use or mental health.
• Evidence of effective partnership working.
• Evidence of managing a busy caseload.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word; familiar with databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understand complex issues faced by people who have experienced homelessness.
• Determined with drive to succeed and willingness to learn.
• Passionate about making a real difference to those we support.
