Job summary

The Link is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our Housing Support Service team in East Lincolnshire. Based in Helsey, you will help design personalised support plans, assess needs, and collaborate with partner agencies to prevent homelessness and promote independent living.

You will work in a trauma-informed environment, with opportunities for professional development and training, including well-being initiatives and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in support work or lived experience is valued.
• Empathetic, compassionate and dynamic individual.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced team and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Service Users in a safe environment by planning, reviewing and assessing needs and risks.
• Assess and evaluate the needs of Service Users.
• Communicate tasks in support plans clearly to Support Workers and ensure agreement with the Service User.
• Help Service Users understand independent living, budgeting, maintenance and leisure time.
• Liaise with partners, stakeholders and service providers to ensure appropriate support.
