Job summary
Target Housing in Doncaster is seeking a dedicated Recovery Support Worker to help individuals living with mental health needs maintain their tenancies and build independence. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide person-centred support, develop recovery plans, and promote wellbeing.
The role requires an enhanced DBS check, a full UK driving licence and a commitment to equality and inclusion.
Qualifications
- Experience in support work, housing, or mental health services.
- Understanding of risk assessment and support planning.
- Knowledge of welfare benefits and relevant legislation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- Supporting individuals to sustain or access suitable accommodation.
- Developing and delivering person-centred support and recovery plans.
- Helping people build confidence, independence, and life skills.
- Providing support with budgeting, bills, appointments, and daily living.
- Carrying out risk assessments and maintaining accurate records.
- Encouraging positive wellbeing, including healthy lifestyles.
- Working collaboratively with external agencies and professionals.
- Supporting people with tenancy responsibilities and managing conflict.
