Job summary

Moray Council in Moray is seeking a Housing Support Assistant to work with vulnerable households and contribute to homelessness prevention through Housing First and resettlement programmes.

You will travel between Moray locations by car, provide home management and life skills training, maintain records for audits, and support induction for new staff. A regulated role requiring PVG checks is included.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people with multiple needs.
• Experience of multidisciplinary working.
• SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent in Housing or related field.
• SSSC Registration or working towards.
• Maintain SSSC registration through training and development of skills/knowledge.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Ability to organise, plan, and monitor workloads.
• Effective communication skills both oral and written.
